Hot on the heels of claims that Tiger Woods had an affair with New York socialite Rachel Uchitel, a second woman has come forward with explosive allegations that she has been in a steamy affair with the world number 1 golfer.
As police in Florida concluded their investigation into Tiger’s curious car crash in the dead of night, an American magazine, US Weekly, was preparing to publish claims by a 33-year-old cocktail waitress, Jamie Grubbs, that she had a 31-month affair with Tiger after meeting him in Las Vegas in April, 2007. By then, Tiger had been married to Elin Nordegren for three years.
The magazine claims Miss Grubbs had 20 sexual encounters with Tiger and she was in possession of photos, more than 300 racy texts and a voicemail. In the voicemail he is said to suggest that his wife might know about the alleged affair.
Further claims are now being added to what can only be a distressful time for Elin, with the New York Post reporting that Radaronline claims that ‘several other women’ say they have had affairs with Tiger.
One text messages, the Post says Radaronline reports, reads: ‘Send me something very naughty…Go to the bathroom and take (a picture).’
Radaronline claims that several national media outlets are in contact with other women who say they have had sexual contact with Tiger – while he was married.
I said it a week ago…this story is set to run and run. And run.
Tiger...a happy man on the golf course
Well, here we go again. Following my two earlier blogs suggesting that the Tiger Woods story was destined to run and run, rumours are now spreading like wildfire that the world’s number one golfer and his lovely wife Elin Nordegren were involved in an argument shortly before he crashed his SUV at 2.25am.
As has already been reported, the National Enquirer is running a story claiming that Woods has been having an affair with New York socialite Rachel Uchitel, who was photographed checking into the same Melbourne hotel that he was staying at while he was playing in the Australian Masters earlier this month.
Only Tiger and his wife would be able to tell us whether the Enquirer story was behind his reason for driving from their Florida mansion in the early hours of the morning. But it is certainly curious to find such a high profile personality leaving his marital home at 2.25am and then crashing into a fire hydrant and a tree.
It must also be wondered why Elin reportedly dashed out of the house with a golf club in order to smash the back window of the vehicle to provide assistance.
When police arrived they found Tiger lying in the street with his wife beside him. According to reports, they have since told police they had been having a domestic disagreement before the crash.
He’s back home now, having been treated in hospital for facial injuries.
Tiger’s spokesperson has reportedly confirmed he met Rachel Uchitel in the past but denied they were having an affair.
So the story continues to run and run…

Well, the aftermath of the allegations have had an astonishing sequel – with Woods leaving the marital home at 2.25am and crashing his SUV into a fire hydrant and then a tree.
When police arrived they found him lying in the street with his beautiful wife Elin hovering over him. She told the officers she had heard the crash and came out and broke the back window of the vehicle with a golf club in order to get her husband out of the vehicle. Tiger was described as slipping in and out of consciousness.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance in what was said at the time to be a serious condition, but later hospital officials and a spokesperson for the world number one golfer said he had been released and was ‘fine’.
While it sounded at first that this was hot news, it has since transpired that the incident occurred 12 hours before the media learned about it. Police say they still do not know what caused Tiger to crash but said alcohol was not involved. It was suggested, however, that charges could follow if there was a clear traffic violation.
The incident occurred as the web was running hot with a report in the National Enquirer that Tiger had been having a fling with New York socialite Rachel Uchitel. It must be wondered what Tiger was doing leaving the mansion where he lives with his wife and two young children at 2.25 in the morning and almost immediately crashing his vehicle.
So I have to say it again – this story is going to run and run….
Tiger Lines Up
This is a story that is, as they say, likely to run and run – Tiger Woods is reported to have been having an affair with a New York socialite.
While Tiger was in Melbourne to play in the Australian Masters earlier this month, it is claimed, 34-year-old New York socialite Rachel Uchitel was checking into the same hotel he was staying at – the Crown Casino. She told the National Enquirer, which is running the ‘Tiger Cheating’ claims, that she was in Melbourne for business reasons.
However, in what will be a blow to Tiger’s millions of fans around the world, friends of Rachel have told the paper that she and Tiger stay in touch during his frequent travels through phone calls and ‘sexting’, sending each other racy text messages on their mobile phones.
The story has now hit the internet in a big way and already there have been comments along the lines of ‘where there’s smoke there is fire’ and pointing out that the Enqurier was right about John Edwards’ love child and David Letterman’s affair.
Tiger’s lawyers have told the Enquirer that the golfer may have been at the same nightclub as Rachel at some point – but the legal team vehemently denied an affair.
Tiger, of course, is married to Elin Nordegren and they have two children.
The report is going to create a tidal wave of disbelief among Tiger’s fans. But don’t just watch this space…
