Barrow Creek, Where Peter Falconio Disappeared

On 13/07/2011, in , by admin

I stand at the spot near Barrow Creek where Peter Falconio disappeared 10 Years ago.

Richard Shears stands at the same spot near Barrow Creek he stood at 10 years ago when Peter Falconio’s blood stained the road. Bradley Murdoch is now serving life, with a minimum non-parole period of 28 years, for Falconio’s murder, although the body has never been found.

Great article Richard. This case has always intrigued me. I’d love to know what really happened…interesting that the previous comment was from a Goverment Official..! I am going to invest in the book mentioned earlier, Dead Centre. I read Joanne Lees’ book a few years ago and did find her reaction odd…..as far as I recall she was out having dinner & drinks with friends pretty soon after the incident…it just seemed bizarre to me. I hope we find out the truth in my lifetime!!

My hubby and i have just come back from a trip to south australia and came from Kingaroy to mt isa and down the centre due to flooding in NSW. It was very erie so we camped in caravan parks but one day we stopped for a break i think it was somewhere before Marla and as we were sitting in the little shed my hubby looked up and there was lots of names of who had stopped and there was one which said P. Falconio 23.3.07 and i said to my hubby it could not have been the same person or maybe he has been over here before this all happened . anyway i just want to let you know your book was worth reading and left me wondering .
